The Fusion X3 engine has now been upgraded, the stock X3 now comes with Novarossi's legendary R7 Connecting rod and a Turbo head button/ Plug This is a true performer, an engine that is very smooth and yet has ample bottom end torque and revs to the moon. It is very comparable in its power delivery to a Novarossi plus 4 This engine is proving to be very popular with RC racers all over Australia and it’s easy to see why as they still come in at under $200 www.fusionxengines.com.au/index.php?route=product/product&path=59&product_id=53Dave Watts' FUSION X ENGINES AUSTRALIA

Fusion X Engines Australia are pleased to announce that Craig Laughton will be running Fusion X Engines for 2012
Prior to Craig's singing he insisted he must test an engine well and put several litres of fuel thru it before he makes a commitment and explained to myself that he is rather fussy with what he uses and likes in an engine.
We can proudly say that Craig is extremely pleased with the performance of he's Fusion X3 Engine in he's buggy and further reports to us that he loves the smooth linear power band and the excellent run time he is getting from the Fusion X3, He also reports that the Fusion X3 likes to rev high which he likes and it has good bottom end power/ Torque
Craig had tested a couple of different Engines recently but decided the Quality of the Fusion X Engine been 100% Novarossi will always be amongst the best available and when matched with excellent performance he was easily able to make the decision to Run Fusion X Engines
We wish Craig all the best with he's racing career and we are confident he will have a successful year running Fusion X Engines

After the Fusion X3,s success and popularity as a race engine it has now been updated again, The updates on all Fusion X3 engines are that it now comes with Novarossi's plus 4 BTT crankshaft which is the best available and Novarossi’s best front bearing (double sealed) as used in all Novarossi's high end race engines and Fusion X7
At the recent Buggy Nationals Craig Laughton set the third fastest lap of the 1060 laps of the A Main final with he’s stock Fusion X3 engine, Unfortunately a throttle servo failure resulted in a run away and Craig lost he's podium position

I thought I should point out that Fusion X Engines in Australia will always be cheaper to buy out here than buying from overseas, it is a company policy of mine and an agreement I have with Fusion X
This comes to mention after what happened last week. Last week I had a guy buy an engine from overseas and he was not too happy when he found out he paid $50 more for it than what it would have cost him if he had of brought it thru Fusion X Engines Australia'

Brilliant engines... My X3 is all run in now without a hassle, compared to my old novarossi P3XS this thing has more top end and is a bit more responsive down low. Well worth the $200.

Dude, Just you wait till you get a tune on that thing and it gets a few litres or more thru it.. your going to freak out! I have only just realized how well the X3 can go, Yesterday at LRRCC my X3 engine was just awesome with a good tune on it and i guess it is now fully ran in (has about 11/12 litres thru it) No one should underestimate the Fusion X3, One of the most awesome Engines to ever come out of the Novarossi factory Dave

I really can’t say about how many litres are going thru them as I think Craig Laughton and I have put about the most thru them so far here in Australia which is only about 15/20 litres at this stage, I will be able to tell you eventually though as I intend to keep my personal ones running until they can run no more and been Novarossi I would personally expect well over 50 racing litres at least up to say 70/80 but that’s me and I guess it all depends on how an engine is treated and more importantly how it is ran in Simon from Albion Park has my old Novarossi Toro Nero with a genuine 100 litres thru it and its all original except for the rear bearing, Other than the crank shaft been worn from where the clutch bearings sit it is still a great running engine Jomari is very pleased with he’s X7X and I think like anyone that tries Fusion X he will be hard pressed to go back to anything else, Yes he did well at the Nationals, Very well!, And he also did well to win the Sworks series at LRRCC. Another driver that did well at the Nationals running Fusion X is young Jesse Newman who is a Fusion X Au supported driver that made the 1/4 finals and actually would have bumped easy into the Semi final if it were not for a flame out which was an honest tuning mistake of he's dads leaving the idle too low after richening the engine (he was in 2nd place in that ¼). I am very pleased to have these guys on board running Fusion X engines I had a ball at LRRCC on Sunday! Now looking forward to the WA state titles which allready are less than a month away, Dave

The not so long ago released Fusion X5 (five port) is proving to be everything Fusion X said it would be This new Engine is much like the X3 Lightning (TQ of the 2012 Australian Buggy Nationals) with more power at all rpm (specially low to mid rpm) yet still achieves the same excellent run time the X3L does X5 Engines will be on special for $225 over the Truggy Nationals weekend.. Give or take a day or two This also includes free express overnight post Dave' FUSION X ENGINES AUSTRALIA

Last week Fusion X Engines driver Craig Laughton won the Australian Truggy National's and at about the same time Fusion X also won the Truggy National's in Kuwait Craig Laughton was the only Truggy been able to pit at the 11 minute mark in the A final which meant he had two less pit stops than everyone else... The power from he's fusion X7 at the same time was absolutely awesome! ' Dave FUSION X ENGINES AUSTRALIA

After having quite a few people ask about Fusion X Engines yesterday after the meet I thought I would put up some basic info and more detailed information about the Engine range and what can be expected from the different models If anyone has any further questions at all please just ask here/ pm me .. or email info@fusionxengines.com.au Our website is - www.fusionxengines.com.auKeep updated with our FaceBook - www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-X-Engines-Australia/277000175670850- Fusion X Engines are Novarossi Engines modified for better power and run time, Every component is a raw Novarossi part that has already been proven for years by Novarossi Basically we have three Main engines in the line up, A three port a five port and a seven port Engine, respectively the Fusion X3 / X5 and X7, There are however two versions of the three and five port Engines... there is the more basic X3 and X5 Race engines or the Lightning versions of these engines, The lightning versions add a specially modified plus 4BTT crankshaft, Novarossi's patented double sealed front bearing as used in all high end Novarossi race engines and the Novarossi team piston which is machined out of a single billet piece not micro cast.. this is effectively the forged piston of the Rc world , Other than the exclusive components inside these versions make slightly more power thru the rpm range and they do this without using any more fuel, The X7 engine has all these components inside as standard fitment The Fusion X3 is comparable with a Novarossi 4BTT/ Plus 4 type engine for those who know them however the Fusion X3 has a stronger more useable torque curve than the 4BTT, Team Driver Craig Laughton did he's fastest lap on he's home track in WA on a X3L after coming from 4BTT and said it was due to that extra torque which was very useable in some jump sections also he loved the high rpm which is something all fusion X Engines have, One local guy from Sydney who came from an os speed said he's X3 was every bit as good as it and he could get 3 minutes more run time than he could out of the speed... the trick is to run the 9901 pipe and get the tune pretty good (crisp and more lean like) on the lsn than most engines would appear to like The Fusion X5 is extremely smooth also and has a stronger low to midrange torque curve than the X3... This Engine is more like P5XL for those that know them but is less of a light switch in its power delivery and revs harder with a longer lasting more useable torque curve, I find that the X5 is most peoples favorite engine in buggy but the power delivery although different to the three port it is not a massive change however is noticeable and if say you had to find some strong pull out of a corner for a jump on a high grip track the X5 would do it better then the X3 but they will both do it no problems at all, Both these engines are very interesting and unique in the sense that they run an 8 port block which is really more of an on road based Novarossi block.... Fusion X have Novarossi machine the rear diverters out of this block and use a sleeve to Fusion X specs along with other timing specs to produce a truly remarkable Engine that pulls from bottom to top with all the power you ever need in but in a very linear fashion, The Lightning versions of these Engines give you a modified 4BTT crank/ The Team piston which is machined out of one billet piece not micro cast like other engines and the double sealed front bearing unique to Novarossi .. these engines also make slightly more power thru the entire the rpm range without using any more fuel... They are the elite however it should be remembered that the X3R Race and X5T Race as they are known are still 100% race Engines and use Novarossi components with Novarossis highest level of quality and tolerances The X7 on the other hand is beyond amazing... This seven port Engine is very powerful yet so smooth and linear its just astonishing, to the point where many people are telling me that they are like driving electric, The X7 is unique in the sense that it has very strong bottom end power which is pretty much a first for a seven port... Fusion X knew that the timing of pretty much every seven port engine is on road based for huge high rpm / power and that a true off-road seven port was yet to be designed.. so they did exactly that! With most manufacturers engines you would steer away from seven ports and go down to five or three ports if say you were running a more heavy Truggy to get good off idle and low rpm torque (bottom end power) but with Fusion X if you want our best Truggy Engine you use the seven port (X7), This Engine has more bottom end than a Bonito with stronger mid range torque and also far higher revving.... we have the same advantages over the Roma but the Roma does address some of the Bonito's lack of bottom end however a Roma does this at the cost of some fuel extra usage, A fusion X7 hands down has more power than these engines and better fuel economy and a more usable torque curve... it may sound too good to be true but ask anyone you see running one or the 2013 National Truggy champion Craig Laughton who did two less pit stops in the A final recently in Melbourne than anyone else with might I add as much power if not more than anyone else on the track... As example Kyle McBrides modified Os Speed had no more speed or power anywhere on track when side by side with Craigs stock Fusion X7 Craig Laughtons step brother Matt Primmer who is a very well seasoned racer put a X7 in he's truggy for the SA state titles last year after using os speeds for quite some time and he could not believe it!!... More bottom end power than he had ever experienced and as much if not more power than the speed everywhere else with the added bonus of 2/3 minutes more track time before re fueling... he could not believe it! As powerful as the X7 is it can be used in Buggy because of how smooth the power is... Not that I would recommend doing this to less experienced racers The price of Fusion X Engines is Excellent because they wanted it to be that way, Fusion X do this by using the older style Novarossi cooling heads which are cheaper to use, The engine comes in a plain white box not one worth $20 or more and the crankcases are not painted... all these things which are added costs are costs the consumer has to pay for and they have nothing to do with the performance of the Engine in any way, That along with Fusion X been a small exclusive elite Engine company that does not spend much money in the way of advertising/ promotional stuff etc means once again the end customer saves as they do not have to pay for this in their purchase price of an Engine For new racers in particular or people racing on low grip tracks the X3 Engine is all you will ever need and very affordable The best pipes to use for proper power and run times are Novarossi pipes but you may find what you have on hand will work ok, Generally you always use a short header with a Fusion X Engine and a 9901 or 2096 Novarossi pipe... the 9901 been most peoples preferred pipe which has a little more bottom end than the 2096 but still revs very hard, The 2096 I would recommend to tame a X7 in a Buggy if necessary as it tends to be a smoother less aggressive pipe Fusion X wanted to give their consumer three things.... Smooth linear power/ Excellent run times and to be well priced and they nailed it big time! Dave, FUSION X ENGINES AUSTRALIA
