Fusion X Engines Australia is now the importer of the BUKU Power Clutch For those who do not know about the clutch it is one of the most revolutionary pieces of racing equipment to be developed for Rc racing in a long time. All racers will benefit from this clutch The BUKU clutch can be adjusted by simply turning the grub screws in the flywheel, each grub screw adjusts the tension on one of the springs which therefore effectively give you a different spring tension in about 10 seconds and without having to removed the clutch from your engine and swapping out the springs / shoes etc, You dont even have to remove the engine just simply adjust the grub screws thru the flywheel cut out in your chassis I can tell you from my own testing and racing at the WA state titles that having this clutch it is like cheating!!, it really is As people who know me will tell you i will only sell/ import the highest quality of brands and products after my own extensive testing in the field and this is one of them! The shoes on these clutches last a very long time and are not to dear to replace so this really is the only clutch you will ever need and or want after you try it. My site will be updated with shoes and springs etc later this evening For more info here is the link for the official thread on Rc Tech - www.rctech.net/forum/offroad-nitro-engine-forum/565716-buku-speed-tune-clutch-rc-performance-products.htmlwww.fusionxengines.com.au/index.php?route=product/category&path=66These clutches are fixed price thru the dealer/ importer network by the Manufacturer so you will not buy one cheaper overseas Please pm me for more information or simply post in this thread Dave' FUSION X ENGINES AUSTRALIA

i was informed of this clutch hey this seems like a real good idea for racing.
one question is this price for the buku power clutch with regular aluminium shoes or the bonded komposite shoes.
i seen that they claiming the bonded komposite shoes last 300 % longer. and is a very good friction compound.
let me know as i am in need of a long lasting clutch as ive just sort of blown my fiorni slider due to the whole center diff from busting the screws out etc busted up my bell and ruining my shoes lol it was a good clutch virtually no maintenance but i think from the look of these buku komposite shoes would provide more bite and still last a long time.

Hi Aaron, I too used to only use the Fioroni slider which was great on bearings and lasted a long time but it started to get to me wearing out shoes unevenly and not been able to provide enough snap on hi bite tracks regardless of what springs I ran in it etc (was more of a problem in truggy) The $79 is with the composite shoes and I can confirm they are very long lasting and they run very cool and are good on your bearings, In WA I did all prac rounds and qualifiers and then the semi and main final and my shoes have no wear on them! .. That also includes running an engine in. It certainly is a very good material and a totally new concept to the rc world I guarantee you will be very pleased and say this is the best clutch you have ever run.. I really do! Dave

You should need a 34mm by rights which is what most cars use just that kyosho are 32 and Durango a whopping 36, Remember this relates to flywheel diameter not the clutch pack (some people get it mixed up) The clutches are very solid, everything is oversize! and highest quality materials which is fantastic as sadly we are living in a world where pretty much all manufacturers are cutting costs one way or another and quality is going out the window slowly but surely I won’t be at LRRCC unless it is raining up here and not there, ill race at Maitland this Sunday instead, Dave

i must say the clutch looks really good (after purchasing one on the weekend) oversized pins that the shoes hinge on and the springs are thick as they look rock solid ive got a feelin this will be a good thing i must say hey.
long lasting shoes, springs that wont over extend out of shape and it is adjustable without the need to to change springs or take the shoes off in doing so what a product cannot wait to use it now hey but ive got a feelin its going to be one of the best clutches ever made.

I think your 100% right, What we are seeing with these clutches is real materials been used... the same materials that are used in real size automotive applications as well as solid components that are built to last not to be worn out and replaced as most do Clutch life as well as clutch bell and bearing life would appear to be easily more than doubled, one guy in the states has over 40 litres on he’s original shoes so he sais in the thread and well after putting nearly 5 litres thru mine in truggy and having no wear I believe it You have to wonder why anyone would use aluminium anymore as all it does is burr over and leave dags causing heat and bearing failure from debris, not to mention that aluminium is often too hard on engagement or too soft pending what grade is used Looking at my picture above you can clearly see the large post size when comparing them side by side to the crankshaft Dave

No worries,
Both Losi and Mugen run 34mm clutches but you can also use a 32 which some like as they feel it gives less chance of a flame out via the flywheel hitting the earth
Encase you don't know.... the size only relates to the flywheel outer diameter, you would be surprised how many people don't know this
