Maitland Grand Prix (Pro-Line GP Series R2)

We're now taking entires for the Pro-Line Maitland Grand Prix on July 14th here: www.morcc.com.au/entry/enter.php

Entries are being take for Buggy, Truggy and EP8. However, please be advised that EP8 will only run if we can fit it in. We expect a lot of entries this close to the State Championships, and the series rules are that the IC classes are the priority. We'll make a call on whether EP8 runs the weekend before the race.

If we run out of space at the meeting then we may have to drop the latest entries back to one class* using the priority you have assigned them. So, please put your first preference class in first. Hopefully we won't have to do this, we plan to be running 15 car heats and finals to prep for the States.

The entry deadline is July 7th, late entries will be taken after this time only if there is space.

Hey who is going up to Maitland for the pro-line on the 14 July ? and where is every one staying that's is going ? as I don't think that everyone will fit in ethans caravan of courage ,still working out if im gunna go but got to sort it out by this weekend as got to put a entry in otherwise will miss out ,and im not driving up there to enter on the day only to find out that the entries are full !!!

I'll take a lift if i can get one from who ever is going or people come with me either way ,cant afford to drive up n back solo cause in my car im lookin at 100 for fuel and then add race fees into it yeah no can do solo but happy to bum ride and split petrol or me drive n split it .I can leave friday arvo some time wont know exactly when till tomorrow(tues) night but i'll post it on here as a modify to this post and can stay till monday i dont need to rush back for work i dont go back till the tuesday ,im on hols with the kids next week

All good Dan ,looks like I might be driving up solo on Saturday morning about 6:30am ,forgot im on hols so will have a bit extra cash for fuel(not buying lunches that week) to be able to go solo just have to work out where im going to crash don't know if Edawg is taking the caravan of courage/love or not, if he is and got room will crash there right in-between him and my buddy the producttesta to keep me warm at night hahahaha or might see if I can put up a tent at the back of the track or not as from the pics Ive seen there is a far bit of room at the back of the track ,or worse comes to worse I can always contact my eldest daughters mum in Raymond terrace (about 30-40 mins away) and see if I could crash there but that's a last resort ...hahahaha

pity you cant come dude I can lend ya some cash for race entry if that helps dude ,would be great to have you up there as well

hey Aaron its dave mate , looks like every one has pulled out either cause of work or a lack of money , (the cost of driving up there accommodation for saturday night and race fees ),I was going to go up saturday morning and stay the night up there but im not going to go up by myself and im noy going to drive up there early sunday morning to race sunday and then drive back again sunday arvo/night

is the cheapest way to do it but gets tiring driving up sunday morning. if ya wanna come up with me dave you can mate ill be driving. you can sleep all the way up if u want.
im in the ute plenty room for gear.
would work out well the track will be a new rebuilt track for the event and if your racing buggy will be able to pit for each other as i am entered in truggy.

Holy crap that track is massive! How long did it take to do a lap? Looks unreal

The top guys did it in high 40s low 41sec laps me no where near that( mid 50s was my best i think ) it was too hard a track for me to learn and get set up right,(massive turn in issues ie:none and no rear grip) in only 4 x 7 min heats before the 15 min final to turn good fast laps maybe if there the day before would have helped heaps
in the next day or two im uploading to my you tube page a couple of vids i took on my phone of the A main in both buggy and truggy ,I'll post on here when ive done them .
