Hi boadazofa, Unfortunately the race day the 16th has been cancelled due to unforseen circumstances ?? and will now be held on sunday the 23rd instead. Sorry that the Pro-boards hasn't been updated yet (should have been as soon as the date was changed) as there is a lot who look on here that don't have our face book page address, but this is our face book page which also has our race day info on it www.facebook.com/groups/115542555321184/ ( Imccoffroad Albion Park) just in case the proboards isn't updated , see you on the 23rd cheers Dave

apart from a few of the members having SCT's and a couple of kids with traxxas why would we change to strictly a 1/10th ,our track if driven to the cars and drivers ability can be driven by 1/10 and currently is and since nearly all of our members drive 1/8 ,a strictly 1/10 would not be a option,we are happy to accommodate drivers with 1/10 but they do not turn up for the race days

Just wondering if the new track layout is final and won't be changed . Went out for a drive today and was pretty disappointed to find its set out for Pro drivers once again . I can understand the track needs to be set out for Race day standards but putting it at a level where novice drivers are smashing the crap out of there cars is pretty unfair and pushes away any newbies who may be wanting to start up RC . It's good to see guys looking after the track and putting effort and money into it , just wish it catered for all levels instead of Pro .

everyone understands your concern though its offroad racing track ready for proline challenge. offroad racing is the nature of the beast.
the track is actually more user friendly and less aggressive/dangerous on cars marshals etc then it was before.
the track indeed is ment to have jumps involved as its definately offroad racing and requires a happy medium for pro and medium skilled drivers alike.
if you having difficulty driving the track you may need to scratch up on driving skills by practicing driving before attempting a raceday.

For what it's worth, the single most important piece of advice I was given when I started racing last year was to slow down. And whilst I can still improve heaps, this helped a lot. Get the driving lines right, and then speed up as you get better. Broken cars just means less practice, and more money. E.g. if you are crashing a lot on the new back double double, maybe do it as a double, single, single; or 4x single, or just drive over them; then as you practice more, speed up and/ or include more jumps. Hopefully this might help someone not make all the mistakes, and wasted money, that I did.

My suggestion is drive within your limits if you can't do the jump roll over it and gradually speed up as you get better it's very simple fact that a great deal of people can't grasp for some unknown reason

yeah braking parts and learning the art of track driving is a part of learning r/c offroad car racing.
there will be alot of learning how not to brake parts and what to do or what not to do when driving or wrenching your car
the key is your teaching your self how to drive properly with practice. and also braking parts depends how tough you are on your gear.

All Ive got to say is that I agree with ianr, Xrayrc, and the IMCC pres , practice is the most important thing when we change the track we all have to learn to drive it again as the speeds are different the cornering is now different and so are the racing lines , jumps etc so everybody has to drive to their experience and their cars capabilities and blaming the track for breakages the track doesn't break cars drivers do by driving beyond their and their machines capabilities

Hi is there a raceday this Sunday as I'm looking to come down. Could anyone please confirm There is no race day this weekend at IMCC. The next race day as far as I am aware is the 1st round of the pro line series. This is probably the biggest race day of the year for IMCC. It is on June 1st. I am not sure of the following race day. People will be at the track over the weekend. You should just go for a drive. If you post what time you plan to go, there is more chance others will be there. What car do you have? Ian

RACE DAY IS ON !!! Good news guys I had a look at the fence and we will be able to drive through a spot where I can remove the plastic clips that hold the wire in place so we can drive through .So round 2 of the IMCC Summer Series is a go on the 16th. I don't know what time the road will be closed at but all drivers please come into Croome Rd Via Tongarra Rd if you are there early enough the road may not be closed so come in as normal, if the road has been closed off for through traffic , approx 100m up Croome Rd on the right hand side there is a gate where they will be letting people in to park for the convoy tell the guys on the gate( I will let them know of our race day ) that you are a driver at the IMCC race day and that you are going to the RC track and I will have a sign where the spot in the fence is so you can drive in RACE DAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Round 2 IMCC Summer Series Sunday 16th November Normal start time approx 8:30 drivers meeting racing 9:00 Bacon & egg sandwiches for brekkie ,pies ,sausage rolls ,hotdogs through out the day and BBQ steak and sausage sandwiches lunch. Can we get a idea of who will be coming ,as we are expecting a lot of spectators through out the day there as well with the convoy being on so we need to judge how much food will be required. Could let us know if you are coming on our face book page www.facebook.com/groups/115542555321184/ SEE YOU ALL RACE DAY
