The weather is a concern... I know some drainage has been put in I just hope it makes major changes as from memory if this track is soaked it needs days to dry out, Its already looking like Saturday would just be a day of trying to dry up the track... we can only hope for no more rain tomorrow

We will make the final decision tomorrow afternoon, but at this stage it's not looking good. It's been raining 2 days straight now with more rain expected on friday.

Yeah its not looking good ,even with the extra drainage don't know how well it would cope anyway ,the rain gauge at my place at dapto (10 mins from track) had 110 mls from wednesday and today up till 6:30 tonight when i checked it and it hasn't stopped raining since then either

One of the biggest problems I have noticed with drying that track when its water logged is that the parts of the track that really need the sun's rays to help dry it out are pretty much in the shade all day, Anyway keep us updated tomorrow guys... im guessing if it rains much tomorrow (today) its all over Dave

As long as there is no big puddles on the track the surface should dry out pretty quick. We've been working on eliminating the low spots on the track and getting drainage to the places that ate low. I'll be there today to sweep off the water that's there. Fingers crossed for practice but I can't see why we won't go ahead with racing on sunday

The track has held up pretty well considering the amount of rain we've had. I've been sweeping and clearing the water today and its drying out pretty quickly . I think with no more rain Sunday will be great, but maybe pushing it tomorrow. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE NO MORE RAIN

depending on how the track looks if the sun is out (has been this arvo) also tomorrow morning might be able to call it from 12 noon onwards for practice if it needs that bit extra dry time. rather then canning the whole practice day.
we must remain hopefull to say it wont rain tomorrow (even check the radars etc) so to say practice will goahead tomorrow but not before 12 noon making that decision tonight for the guys coming down from far and wide. just an added option to help make the call tonight.
again just an optional idea i wanted to bring to your attention.

Full results from the meet and series points are now up here: www.rctech.net/forum/australian-events/695914-2013-pro-line-nsw-act-grand-prix-nitro-offroad-interclub-series-ic-ofr-may-dec-2.htmlIn a nutshell: Liverpool 59 Maitland 52 Canberra 36 Illawarra 34 Barbarians 32 St Ives 25 Podiums:Buggy:1st: Andrew Gillott (I) 2nd: Brendhan Wade (M) 3rd: Dallas Gardiner (M) Truggy:1st: Ron Maya (B) 2nd: Shane Kelly (C) 3rd: Scott Jones (S) Hmm, I've just noticed that Liverpool won the round without getting anyone on the podium. Good consistency from them. They'll be hard to beat in the series. Thanks again to the Illawarra crew, having a local win Buggy was a good reward for your efforts. Next round is at Maitland on July 14th.
